International business operates within a complex and often unpredictable landscape. Cross-border transactions and international disputes reveal more than the mechanics of commerce, they expose the underlying dynamics that shape — and at times disrupt — the conduct of global trade. Through focused examination of regulatory, structural, and practical dimensions of international business, this initiative looks beyond what happened to understand why outcomes unfolded as they did and what they signal in the broader context.

This work is informed by exposure to and study of multiple legal systems and commercial centres across many jurisdictions, as well as a genuine interest in the intersection of international law, global affairs, and commerce. For those who share an interest in international business and global affairs, I hope it serves as a useful reference point for understanding how cross-border transactions and disputes operate as part of the larger system of international trade.

This is an early initiative. Expect it to grow and evolve.
